Seeing life's events in the light of God's Word.

Psalm 139: 7-10        “Where can I go from your Spirit? Or where can I flee from your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me.”

One day, I asked God to reveal himself to me throughout the day in ways that I would recognize. Little did I know, that He would open my eyes to see countless instances of His presence that day—and every day! Now, I’m able to see His hand in EVERYTHING!

I began to write my insights down, never thinking that there would be so many of them I would start a blog—but here it is: Examples from everyday life that God has used to assure me that He is with me every step of the way. While there is no substitute for getting into the Word yourself, at times we may find it helpful to read something that will give us needed encouragement in the midst of daily frustrations—to help us reconnect with God. I pray that these small stories and accompanying scriptures will be a blessing as you look at your daily life as a series of moments, carefully planned and orchestrated, by our Heavenly Father, to remind us of His constant and abiding love.

Sometimes the chatter of this life creates roadblocks that prevent us from pausing to hear and see the work of God around us. The art of listening to the Holy Spirit is one that, as with everything, takes time to learn. If we are able to recognize his presence in our lives, our eyes open and our ears hear the miraculous story that He has laid out before us. Thank you for the reminding message that there isn’t anywhere that God doesn’t follow us. Wherever we are, we can seek him and find our solace in Him.
