Revelation 19:6b-7a~ “Hallelujah! For our Lord God reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory!”
Since the beginning of football season back in September, fans have been gearing up to watch the Super Bowl.
It’s finally here and millions of folks will be cheering for their favorite team. But at game’s end, only one will be declared the victor.
Just as it will be one day in the future.
Now, I’m not a football enthusiast. I’m also just a layman when it comes to scripture. So if the comparison I draw here is not exactly accurate, please forgive me.
I am thinking ahead to events in the book of Revelation. More precisely, to the battle between the forces of good and evil, Christ and Satan.
We don’t know exactly when this will take place. But we do know who wins.
The Bible tells us that Satan will be destroyed, along with his dark angels, ridding the earth once and for all of sin and evil.
It will be the Super Bowl of all Super Bowls.
The winner: Jesus Christ!
