1 Thessalonians 4: 16-17 “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.”
Last week, an aunt I hadn’t heard from in some twenty-plus years got in touch with me. You can imagine the surprise—and elation—of that reunion.
I’ve read stories of young lovers who went their separate ways, but were reunited years later.
Many of us have attended planned high school or college get-togethers.
Getting back in touch can be a beautiful thing.
I’m looking forward to the greatest reunion of all—in heaven.
For believers, seeing Jesus, friends and loved ones who have passed will be a joy beyond description.
